Transition Cambridge is working towards building a stronger, more resilient community with the capacity to adapt to climate change and energy price hikes, while supporting local people to thrive. Current projects include community gardens, community supported agriculture, home energy usage, repair cafes and more. Volunteers are invited to get involved in a variety of ways to support Cambridge's transition to more sustainable and environmentally friendly ways of living.

Large community garden in the City designed and run on permaculture principles with support from Transition Cambridge, welcomes volunteers, runs weekly community gardening sessions, no experience needed.

Building and advocating for rain gardens and other sustainable drainage to slow, spread and and sink stormwater run-off to improve the quality and quantity of water in the ground and our watercourses.&nbsp;
