A Toy's Life and Beyond

A social venture based in Cambridge, UK, now associated with Transition Cambridge.  All work is done on a voluntary basis. 

By using the life cycle of a toy, we envisage children can learn about recycling, where materials come from and how they can contribute to the betterment and protection of the environment as well as introducing them to the circular economy concept and sustainability in general.

At present, most of the toys produced are not recyclable and end up in landfills all over the world.  This is why we see A Toy’s Life and Beyond making an important contribution to the environment and society in general. 

Our aim is to reduce the number of toys, particularly plastic ones, that end up on landfills.

Our mission is to raise awareness about what happens when a toy is no longer needed and the impact its disposal has on the environment.
